Free STEM workshops, written by students
Developed by our members, the STEMulate curriculum is aligned with the Singapore primary school syllabus. Every session explains real-life phenomena and has a theory part and a hands-on part, so children learn by doing.
The STEM x series
Each workshop pairs STEM with something children already love. The photos are from our own sessions.

More than workshops
Besides the STEM x workshops we run hands-on experiments, personal 1-to-1 sessions, learning journeys and events.
-
1-to-1 sessions
Weekly, personal sessions. With VIVA Foundation we have been running weekly 1-to-1 sessions for children with cancer since January 2025.
-
Learning journeys
Trips that show children where STEM happens in the real world.
-
Monthly enrichment activities
Regular activities with our partner centres, running every month since 2024.
What changes for the children
The confidence and passion for STEM that grow in our sessions have begun to shape the children's long-term aspirations. Several have shared ambitions to pursue STEM careers.
We have also become not just mentors but peers in their lives. The children remember our first names and keep in touch with us outside lessons, and we are honoured to act as older sisters and role models.
“With them around engaging the children in interactive activities, the children feel less alone. Our community children look forward to the sessions.” Beyond Social Services
Bring a workshop to your centre
We run these sessions for free with student care centres, family service centres, libraries and charities.
