
Here, our volunteer facilitators explain the scientific theory behind the topic to the participants. Usually will include diagrams, videos or simulations as visual aids.
Then, our facilitators will conduct a related practical (in this case, a "magic" experiment) as the hands-on portion of the session. This helps our participants grow a deeper interest in the topic. Then, the facilitator explains how each "magic" trick works in relation to the theory learnt earlier.
Finally, this time is taken for a debrief and consolidation of what was learnt during the session that day.
