STEM X Content Creation

March 2024
Our initiatives to provide children with opportunities to explore and express their interest in STEM have generated much impact, and have done much to rally our school community to support the children in their STEM journey. One of our most notable projects, in partnership with Project Enjo, was a digital workshop series designed to empower children to ideate, film, and edit their own educational videos connecting personal interests to STEM topics of their choice.

Video Making

In the 2 sessions, our facilitators taught the participants how to make videos through app softwares, helping them to keep up with our increasingly tech-savvy world.

Activities include:
  • Incorporation of AR, Animation or Slides into video

  • Video Planning (utilizing ChatGPT to brainstorm) -- brainstorming, scripting, storyboarding and pre-filming prep (props)

  • Teaching Video editing -- Utilizing iMovie for stitching clips, transitions, volume, special effects and voiceovers

  • Filming (filming of all the clips, as well as voiceovers)
